ShredFest - 4th Annual SkateJam For The Troops
Saturday December 19, 2009
A big thank you to all who came out, skated, and rocked out and gave to this fund. We raised $ 850.00 for Sgt Jason McLeod daughter’s trust fund. Skateboarders!!!! I love them. The generosity for this event was truly motivating for me and it reconfirm’s my faith in Americans and that America is the most generous country in the world. With all of us riding through the hardest times of our lives we were still able to raise this money for someone who gave his life for our freedom. May he rest in peace.

A True American Hero
On November 23rd 2009 Crystal Lake Army Sgt Jason A McLeod was killed in action from a Taliban mortar attack on his position in Afghanistan. He was laid to rest in Cary, Illinois on Friday the 4th of December. He is survived by his wife Aimee and their 15 month old daughter Jocelyn. This year’s event will donate proceeds to a fund set up for Jocelyn’s education.
Sgt McLeod is a true American Hero who died defending our freedom and his sacrifice will not be forgotten.
